First-Year Student Scholarships
Eligibility
- All students who complete the Application for Admission are automatically considered for one of several need-blind scholarships; no separate application forms are required.
- Criteria for the scholarship include difficulty of curriculum, grade point average, extracurricular activities, recommendations, quality of writing in the application, optional SAT or ACT test scores, and optional interview.
- 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is 'test-optional'. You do not need to submit an SAT or ACT to be considered for merit scholarships.

Current & Returning Student Scholarships
Eligibility
Most 91³Ô¹ÏÍø scholarships for continuing students are offered through the specific departments of study. Continuing students are encouraged to check with their academic advisor or department chair for merit-based scholarship opportunities. At times, departmental scholarships are granted automatically to students; no separate application forms are required for consideration.
Eligibility
Typically, twice a year, internal scholarship opportunities become available to current and/or returning undergraduate students. Students will be notified regarding these scholarship opportunities through the Morning Mail email (a daily email sent to the Zagmail email account of all current 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students.) Students are encouraged to monitor Morning Mail emails for notification on these scholarship opportunities, as well as information regarding the application process.
Eligibility
The Mary Stuart Rogers Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students in their junior or senior year (or in the 5th year of education studies). Applicants must show commitment to community service, leadership, education, compassion and a dedication to the University's mission. To be eligible, applicants must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file for the current academic year, and have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0. Outside scholarships, or scholarships awarded by sources that are external to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø University, are widely available through many different sources. The Financial Aid Office maintains a scholarship database, which contains outside scholarship opportunities. Eligibility requirements and application deadlines may change without knowledge. We advise students to thoroughly research an organization prior to submitting a scholarship application. Any student using the Internet to apply for scholarships should be aware of possible scams. Graduate/Doctoral Scholarships
Graduate students are encouraged to apply for outside scholarships and reach out to the department through which they are enrolled to inquire about departmental scholarships or assistantships that may be available. Additional financial resources and payment options include loans, direct payments, or payment plans. Upon completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), most graduate students are eligible to borrow up to $20,500 in Federal Unsubsidized loan funding per academic year depending on their course load, cost of attendance and loan aggregate limits. If a graduate student needs to borrow additional loan funding, loan options include the Graduate PLUS Loan or a Private Alternative Loan. A FAFSA must be filed for the current academic year to determine eligibility for the Federal Unsubsidized Loan and Graduate PLUS Loan.
