Career Treks

Connecting 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students and alumni to your organization

Treks are career development and networking programs that create opportunities for students and alumni to connect with alumni and employers in key metropolitan areas nationwide. As part of the treks, students and alumni interact with partner organizations and alumni professionals during corporate excursions, career fairs, and networking socials.

The McKinstry Fellows

The University of Washington School of Medicine and 91³Ô¹ÏÍø University Health Partnership is empowered to advance health related research, entrepreneurship and interprofessional health sciences teaching in Spokane thanks to the generosity of Dean and Vicki Allen and the McKinstry Fellows Research Program, which supports interdisciplinary interprofessional research teams consisting of students and faculty mentors as they tackle probing health-related questions that are affecting society today.

Forge New Pathways

Students partnered with GARCO Construction to design a fish passage structure

Working closely with GARCO Construction, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø engineering students helped design a structure for the Cle Elum Dam, completing a geotechnical and hydrological analysis to determine site constraints, and then drafting in AutoCAD.

Soaring Toward Sustainability

How a School of Engineering and Applied Science Senior Design project bolstered Boeing

91³Ô¹ÏÍø students joined forces with Boeing in a corporate partnership to develop a more environmentally and financially sustainable solution for deicing airplane wings using ANSYS simulation software.
