Request Your Estimated Financial Aid Offer

Accepted Students: We're Here for You

Financial aid can be stressful, and we’re here for you. Recent updates to the FAFSA have delayed financial aid processes and we want to help. We have created a simple process to provide any newly accepted 91³Ô¹ÏÍø student with an Estimated Financial Aid Offer (EAFO).

To receive an Estimated Financial Aid Offer, the accepted student and the parent contributor on the student’s FAFSA simply need to submit some basic information.

Did you know?

Many 91³Ô¹ÏÍø scholarships depend on information in the FAFSA to be awarded. Follow the steps below to submit an Estimated Financial Aid Offer to be considered for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø scholarships as early as possible.

This process works for almost every student who wishes to apply for financial aid, including:

  • Those students who have not been able to submit their FAFSA yet
  • Students who have submitted their FAFSA but have not been able to make corrections
  • Students that have not yet been given an estimated Student Aid Index (SAI)
  • Students who have successfully submitted a FAFSA and are awaiting financial aid information.

We recommend that any student for whom cost is an important factor in their college choice submit an Estimated Financial Aid Offer request.  91³Ô¹ÏÍø has a generous need-based financial aid program and even many families that feel they may not qualify for need-based financial aid find they qualify at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

Please note, this Estimated Financial Aid Offer will be contingent on receipt of official FAFSA documents. The Estimated Financial Aid Offer is unofficial and approximate. Once official FAFSA data is received by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, the financial aid offer will be verified.

1 Step One: Student FAFSA Information

Financial aid offers are determined, in part, by information that is submitted on the FAFSA. If you have not already, please complete the FAFSA. As you complete the FAFSA and receive a FAFSA completion confirmation email, please submit a screenshot of your FAFSA confirmation email that includes your estimated Student Aid Index (SAI). If you have not received a SAI, there is a spot to indicate that in the form.  Students will use the button below to upload the screenshot securely. In order to access the form, students should use the email address they used on the Common Application to GU and the password they set up to access their Application Status Page. Students can reset their password by clicking ‘Forgot Your Password’.

Why are we asking for this information?

While the new FAFSA application is open, your financial information won’t be made available to colleges and universities until sometime later this spring. By sharing your FAFSA confirmation email with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Financial Aid Office, you will allow us to have access to key information about your financial aid eligibility.  Your help in providing this information now allows 91³Ô¹ÏÍø to share what scholarship, grant and loan opportunities could be available to you.

If you or your parent encounter any difficulties while submitting the FAFSA, we're here to assist you! Simply click the ‘’ button above and indicate you’ve encountered issues. Our Financial Aid team will then reach out to offer support.

2 Step Two: Parent Contributor FAFSA Information

Once the student has uploaded the FAFSA confirmation email using the link provided in Step One, an automatic email will be sent to the parent FAFSA contributor. The parent FAFSA contributor will be asked to submit a brief form with the following information:

  1. State residency status
  2. Number in your household
  3. Adjusted gross income (AGI) as determined by 2022 federal income taxes

Why are we asking for this information?

While the new FAFSA application is open, parent contributor financial information won’t be made available to colleges and universities until sometime later this spring. By sharing your state residency status, number in your household, and adjusted gross income (AGI) information with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Financial Aid Office, you will allow us to have access to the final pieces of information that we need to provide your student with an Estimated Financial Aid Offer.

What Happens if I Choose Not to Participate?

This is an optional process to provide timely financial aid information to students and their parents/guardians. Not participating in the Estimated Financial Aid Offer process will not impact the student's official financial aid offer. The purpose of this service is to provide students with the estimated financial aid information that they need to make their college decision. It is important to note that this process does not replace 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's standard financial aid process, which requires completing a FAFSA.

What’s Next?

Once both the student and the parent forms have been submitted, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Financial Aid Office will review the information provided and prepare an Estimated Financial Aid Offer.

Have you viewed your estimated financial aid offer and have questions?

Once 91³Ô¹ÏÍø receives the official FAFSA information from the U.S. Department of Education, we will prepare an official financial aid offer communication to students.
