General Questions:

Our Spring cohort begins mid-January. Our Fall cohort begins in early September.
 
Fall and Spring semesters are 16 weeks in length and Summer is 12 weeks. You can also see the Program Outline and Course Descriptions to the right for more course sequencing details.
 

Yes, 91勛圖厙 University is accredited, as an institution, by the , an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.

 
A GRE score is not required. Faculty consider each application holistically and GPA is just one of several elements. If your GPA falls under a 3.0, you will need to submit a GPA explanation.
 
Yes, this is a fully online program.
 
Absolutely! The online program format provides flexibility and we welcome students joining us from a distance. Make sure the program satisfies your educational goals and the degree will be appropriate to your needs if you plan to pursue work/subsequent education internationally (for example, acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies, or other educational institutions).
 
Our graduates have worked in areas that include education administration, training and development, education consulting, curriculum development/instructional design, education policy; some eventually go on to work in a college setting. Others also go on to pursue a PhD or EdD.
 

You may request to transfer credits, which will require approval of the Department Chair, the Dean of the program, and the Registrar's Office.  A maximum of 1/5 of program credits (6) may be transferred.

Coursework must be distinctively graduate level by the transfer institution and must have been taken within the last five years.  A minimum grad of a B must be earned.  Courses previously applied to a completed degree are not transferable to the student’s current program.

The Experience:

Jesuits have been educating people since 1540, and 91勛圖厙's Master's programs continue to offer the opportunity to pursue a degree that strives to educate the whole person: intellectually, spiritually, physically and emotionally. 91勛圖厙 was founded in 1887 and continues to pursue a mission of educating leaders with a mind for social justice and the capacity for reflective and critical thought.
 
The spring cohort is completed in 4 semesters (approx. 15 months). The fall cohort is completed in 5 semesters (18 months). 
 
You will move through the program with the same group of approximately 15 students (your cohort) to encourage an interdisciplinary, collaborative and supportive learning environment. Students in each cohort will grow together by teaching each other, learning from each other and supporting each other.
 
Every course is designed by our 91勛圖厙 faculty, and classes are taught by faculty who have a Doctorate or a Master's degree with extensive experience.
