We currently have 2 positions available when actively searching to fill these positions. One position is for advising student leadership organizations like RHA & NRHH. One position provides supervision and oversight for the implementation of GU's LLC program. Placement depends on what position is open and how a candidate's skills match the needs of the position and department.

GAs need to work during training, opening, closing and a few other exceptions. At times, due to the high volume of work during these times, especially during summer staff training, GAs’ workload may exceed 30-40 hours per week.

GAs’ vacation breaks follow the same timeline as 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students with minor edits pending needs of the department and job responsibilities.

GAs are trained on the same timeline as full-time RDs.  The training is typically 3-4 weeks, but can vary depending on the needs of that year.  We cover topics such as the core responsibilities of the position in addition to, supervision, culture, social justice, and much more.

At GU we have a live on partner/dependents and pet policy. A domestic partner may be permitted to live with you through coordination and approval from the Director of Residence Life. GU also offers a pet policy which permits GA's up to 2 pets through approval from the Director of Residence Life.

We welcome anyone who wants to apply!

GA's may be eligible to work throughout the support on projects that directly support their area of oversight in preparation for the academic year.
