The STEM Living Learning Community is an engaging residential community designed for students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Open to incoming first year students from all STEM-related fields and those exploring STEM interests.

Residents of the STEM community will have access to exclusive resources and opportunities, such as faculty-led connections from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's various STEM related programs, research workshops, and hands-on projects in areas like robotics, STEM study groups, sustainability, and scientific discovery. The community emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation, encouraging students to tackle real-world challenges using STEM principles.

In addition to academic and professional growth, the STEM community fosters a sense of belonging through social events, peer mentorship, and collaborative initiatives that celebrate diversity and inclusion in STEM. 1st Year STEM LLC residents can only be roommates with residents in the following LLCs:

  • STEM LLC
  • Honors LLC

  • Are 1st Years studying/majoring any Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Neuroscience,Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and any other STEM created GU major
  • Are 1st Years minoring in a program related to STEM disciplines at GU
  • Want to live in community with other Zags that are all working towards STEM careers
  • Incoming 1st Years who are passionate about STEM and being apart of a community with fellow STEM Zags
