Clarke Prize in Legal Ethics CLE

The Clarke Family Prize in Legal Ethics Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is an annual event dedicated to professional responsibility. This program originates from the Harvey and Harriet Clarke Fund for Professionalism and Ethics, established in 1980 to support 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Law’s commitment to legal ethics for both students and practicing attorneys.

Harvey Clarke was a respected jurist, and the Clarke family played an active role in the Spokane, Washington community. Their legacy continued through one of Harvey and Harriet’s children, William “Bill” Clarke, who served as a beloved professor at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Law School from 1975 to 2005. Known for his dedication to professionalism and ethics, Bill Clarke was a favorite professor among students and colleagues alike - in part for his commitment to professionalism and ethics.
