APA Guide to Graduate Programs in Philosophy
contains information about Ph.D., M.A., and equivalent degree programs in the United States. The purpose of this volume is to provide prospective philosophy graduate students and others with basic information about the opportunities in North America for professional training in philosophy. While this volume is a useful starting point for prospective graduate students, a comprehensive inquiry should also include consultation with advisers and people directly involved with programs of interest.

The website also includes info about Philosophy Departments in the US and (for members) a searchable database of philosophers.
- Founded in 1950 by Paul Weiss, the MSA is dedicated to advancing speculative philosophy.
- the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy (SAAP). SAAP exists to advance American philosophy by promoting interest and research in its history, encouraging original and creative work in its spirit, and providing forums for the exchange of information and ideas.
- Sponsors of regional philosophy conferences and of sessions at the national APA meetings, the SCP publishes the journal Faith and Philosophy.
Philosophy Encyclopedias
