More about Kendra

Future plans:

In the Fall, I will begin my job as a Choir and Spanish teacher at Seton Catholic in Vancouver (which was the high school I went to). I could not be more excited to start my career at my Alma Mater. I look to getting my Masters in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certification in the near future.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

My major has allowed me the opportunity to have jobs in the area that relate to Music Education: It has allowed me to serve as a section leader at churches, be a music director for Spokane Children's Theater, teach piano lessons to local families, and perform as a soloist and pianist. It has also allowed me to network with some great Music Educators in the area.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your 91勛圖厙 career?

Completing my solo graduation recital (performing a 30 minute set of Classical music in English, Italian, German, and French).

Being the Music Director/Accompanist for "Sound of Music" at Spokane Children's Theatre.
