More about Charlotte

Future plans:

Due to the mentors and experiential learning opportunities I've had at GU, I've developed a strong desire to work in student affairs in higher education. I have seen how transformative higher education can be to discovering oneself, one's passions, and potential, and I want to be part of that work.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

My studies in sociology, psychology, and women's and gender studies have helped to collectively inform my understanding of this ever-changing, nuanced society. Personally and professionally, my studies have demonstrated the value of lived experience, intersectional perspectives, and critical analysis. With that, I continue to ask questions, consider social locations, and reimagine solutions.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your 91勛圖厙 career?

My proudest accomplishment during my time at 91勛圖厙 is a collective one. This year, I worked with an incredible team of individuals who helped establish a community pantry on campus to address food insecurity. Collaborating with numerous departments across the Division of Student Affairs as well as students was a deeply meaningful experience. I hope it was just one of many steps in a positive direction.
