More about Peter
Future plans:
I will be attending law school next year at the University of Arizona. After that, I plan on becoming a public defender.
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
History has taught me to think critically about how and why people do the things that they do. Being able to analyze the motivations for those actions goes hand-in-hand with what I will have to do as an attorney.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your 91³Ô¹ÏÍø career?
I'm very proud of how committed I was to my classes during the height of Covid. For a year and a half, all but one of my classes were taught online. It was very hard at times to be motivated to learn without any personal interactions, but I kept myself focused at times when it was difficult to do so. I tried to make the best of what I had available to me.

This award honors a History student who is an active member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honors society, and whose GPA proves exceptional academic achievement. Peter Kerr is deserving of this award for being the only graduating history major with a 4.0 GPA.
