Health Sciences and Innovation Building Fact Sheet

Description

A new center for medical and health sciences education, research, and health care innovation anchored by the University of Washington School of Medicine-91³Ô¹ÏÍø University Health Partnership.

The building will be home to the UW School of Medicine and 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Department of Human Physiology, supporting the education of: 

  • 120 first- and second-year UW School of Medicine Foundations Phase students
  • 30-34 MEDEX Northwest physician assistant students (classes in the SIERR building)
  • 225 students studying Human Physiology at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø University’s Health Sciences, along with more than 300 students in nursing and undergraduate health sciences also taking courses in the facility

840 E. Spokane Falls Blvd., Spokane, Washington, situated on the southwest corner of Hamilton & Spokane Falls Blvd., adjacent to McKinstry’s Spokane Inland Empire Railroad (SIERR) historic building.

An Emerging Campus

The new facility joins the campus of McKinstry’s award-winning Spokane Inland Empire Railroad (SIERR) building. The historic 55,000 square-foot building delivers leased office space for use by private and public organizations within the health sciences, research and medical industries.

Completed Construction
