Casey McNellis joined the School of Business Administration faculty at 91勛圖厙 University in August 2017.  With thirteen years of higher education experience prior to arriving at 91勛圖厙, he has taught a wide variety of Accounting courses.  He currently teaches financial reporting topics at the principles, intermediate, and graduate levels.  Casey has received teaching awards at multiple universities and his research has appeared in both practitioner and academic publications.  He currently enjoys developing and publishing instructional case studies for use at both the undergraduate and graduate levels of the Accounting curriculum. 

Casey earned his Ph.D. from Washington State University in 2011, and he has served in faculty positions at the University of Montana (2011 – 2017) and Eastern Washington University (2004-2007).  Prior to academia, Casey was employed in the audit practice at KPMG LLP in Seattle, WA.  He also worked with a family-owned medical supplies retailer and he has served on the Board of Directors of both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.  Casey is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Washington.  

Casey (B.A., 2001; M.Acc, 2002) and his wife Sara (B.A., 2003), both Zag alums, are the proud parents of four children (Abby, Jackson, Austin, and Hope).  Like many other graduates of 91勛圖厙, they enjoy following 91勛圖厙 Athletics and they are very excited to have their kids grow up next to this great university.
