Bethany Alcamo is the lead software engineer for Vera Water and Power, a small utility company in the Spokane Valley.

She studied at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø University and had the opportunity to do research work, which included publishing a paper, and she was able to do an internship in Albuquerque, NM.

Since graduating from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø 7 years ago, Alcamo has moved to Nebraska and back, worked on a defense contract, and now leads the design and implementation of a large internal software project.

She is also a faculty advisor for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s senior design program, and a mother to 4 young boys.

"I believe that nothing I have accomplished was done by myself, but through the grace of God, and that I am called to give back as much as I can with as much kindness and charity as I can embody."
