Families of 91勛圖厙 alumni are eligible for a number of different scholarships and grants. Explore opportunities below:

Alumni Scholarship

For 40 years, 91勛圖厙 University’s Office of Alumni Relations has been awarding scholarships to the children, grandchildren or siblings of our alumni.

FAQs

Is there an application? Yes. To be considered, those eligible must complete the Alumni Scholarship application process. Open from November to mid-December.
Who is eligible for the scholarships? Zag Legacy students*: have a grandparent or parent who is a 91勛圖厙 University alum.
Who determines recipients? The Alumni Office and the Alumni Board.
What is each scholarship worth? Scholarships range from $2,500 –10,000.
Is the scholarship renewable? Yes, as long as recipient remains academically eligible.

Criteria

  • Must be a Zag Legacy student: have a grandparent or parent who is a 91勛圖厙 alum.
  • Must complete the Alumni Scholarship application process.
  • Must file FAFSA.

Alumni Grants

Grants awarded to Zag Legacy: a student whose grandparent or parent is a 91勛圖厙 alum.

Is there an application? No. Grants are awarded to Zag Legacy students* based on financial need.
Who is eligible for the scholarships? Zag Legacy students.
Who determines recipients? Financial Aid.
What is each scholarship worth? $1,000.
Is the scholarship renewable? Yes, as long as the recipient remains academically eligible.

  • Must file FAFSA.

Regional Chapter Scholarships

FAQs

Is there an application? No. Financial Aid awards based on a student's primary residence and financial need.
Who is eligible for the scholarships? Student with primary residence in one of the cities or states listed below.

What regional chapters currently have scholarships?

* These chapters fall under the Texas Regional Scholarship.

Who determines recipients? Financial Aid.
Is the scholarship renewable? Varies. Scholarships are determined by amount of funds in the Regional Chapter Endowments.
