7th International Conference on Hate Studies: The Challenges of Hate in the 21st Century

In partnership with Community Colleges of Spokane, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's Center for the Study of Hate will convene sessions filled with remarkable contributors who have been central to creating socially just and inclusive communities

Join us as we discuss the future of hate studies research, how this research connects to the work of practitioners, and various policies to address hate and acceptance in communities.

Your financial support of this event will empower greater learning and build strength to counter hate not only in your own community, but around the world as well.

Why 91³Ô¹ÏÍø?

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Center for the Study of Hate supports research and education focused on the human capacity to dehumanize an 'other' and the processes that can counter that capacity. With partners locally and across the globe, we are a founding member and leading contributor to the interdisciplinary field of hate studies. This work is central to the identity of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø as a Jesuit university, following in the ways of St. Ignatius or Loyola by naming the harms of marginalization and taking action against bias and bigotry. This is our magis - to work against hate and in solidarity for a world with greater justice.
